Eligibility

• Enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience handling matters before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT).
• Better understanding of:
• The Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993
• The SARFAESI Act
• Other relevant banking and financial laws
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Experience in representing banks, borrowers, financial institutions, or third parties before DRT/DRAT is a plus.
• Proficiency in Marathi (reading, writing, and communication) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in DRT/DRAT proceedings and hearings.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, replies, and appeals for DRT matters.
• Conduct legal research and advise clients on strategies and remedies in recovery proceedings.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and court officials.

Salary

Will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and expertise in DRT matters.
