Eligibility
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience handling matters before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT).
- Better understanding of:
- The Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993
- The SARFAESI Act
- Other relevant banking and financial laws
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Experience in representing banks, borrowers, financial institutions, or third parties before DRT/DRAT is a plus.
- Proficiency in Marathi (reading, writing, and communication) is essential.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in DRT/DRAT proceedings and hearings.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, replies, and appeals for DRT matters.
- Conduct legal research and advise clients on strategies and remedies in recovery proceedings.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and court officials.
Salary
Will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and expertise in DRT matters.
