About the Job

Chandhiok & Mahajan is looking to hire an Associate for its Dispute Resolution team in Mumbai. The role offers the opportunity to work on commercial litigation, arbitration, and complex dispute resolution matters before courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.

Associate – Dispute Resolution

Eligibility

• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in commercial litigation and arbitration with exposure across all stages of proceedings.
• Demonstrated capability of appearing before courts, tribunals, and arbitral proceedings.
• Experience in white-collar defence and investigations will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently draft pleadings, applications, and legal opinions.
• Excellent analytical, research, communication, and drafting skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and arbitral proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, applications, legal opinions, and other litigation-related documents.
• Assist in white-collar defence and investigation matters, where applicable.
• Manage dispute resolution matters with a high degree of ownership and professionalism.
