About the Internship

Eligibility

• Pursuing a law degree (5-year or 3-year LLB program).
• Strong academic background with a keen interest in litigation and corporate law.

Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern at Midas Legal, you will be exposed to various facets of legal work, including but not limited to:

• Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal opinions.
• Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as petitions, notices, and contracts.
• Litigation Support: Assist senior lawyers with preparation for ongoing cases, including researching legal precedents, analysing case documents, and organising case files. Attend court hearings and assist in the preparation of legal arguments or submissions.
• Drafting and Reviewing Documents: Draft basic legal documents, agreements, contracts, and correspondence as per the guidance of senior lawyers.
• General Administrative Tasks: Organise and maintain legal files, databases, and records. Assist in maintaining schedules, managing legal calendars, and coordinating case-related communications.
