About Organisation
Office of Advocate Shrish Dixit, a litigation-focused practice dealing with civil, criminal, constitutional, and regulatory matters before District Courts and quasi-judicial bodies. The practice also includes handling cheque bouncing (NI Act) matters and extensive legal drafting work.
About the Internship
This is a litigation-oriented internship aimed at providing hands-on exposure to real legal work. Interns will gain practical experience in drafting, legal research, and court-related procedures, along with understanding litigation workflow and case management.
Eligibility
- Law students (3-year or 5-year LL.B. course)
- Strong interest in litigation and court practice
- Basic knowledge of legal research and drafting preferred
Responsibilities
- Drafting writ petitions, plaints, affidavits, bail applications, and legal notices
- Conducting legal research using SCC Online, Manupatra, and Indian Kanoon
- Assisting in cheque bouncing (NI Act) cases
- Preparing case summaries, notes, and cause lists
- File management and coordination (court exposure for offline interns)
