The ADR Cell of USLLS, GGSIPU, is a faculty-cum-student-run forum that endeavours to foster and instil a vibrant culture of ADR amongst the student community. The cell aims to do so through meaningful engagement with field experts and various stakeholders, while also organising thought-provoking events. The ADR Cell is a research-oriented body that aims to disseminate information on the cutting-edge issues surrounding the field of ADR. Furthermore, the Cell has conducted various drives in the interest of legal awareness and legal aid.

About Outreach & Extension Activities, GGSIPU

Outreach & Extension Activities, GGSIPU aims to fulfil the university’s goals of sustainable development, community involvement and social responsibility. The objective of Outreach & Extension Activities, GGSIPU is to engage in community outreach projects such as legal literacy, entrepreneurship, consumer awareness, public health promotion and environmental preservation, etc.

Introduction

University School of Law & Legal Studies (USLLS), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU)& Outreach& Extension Activities, GGSIPU, are seeking passionate law students to join a dynamic offline internship program. This unique opportunity focuses on raising awareness about Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in law, legal aid, and contemporary legal issues by conducting outreach campaigns across Delhi. Interns will gain valuable firsthand experience in legal outreach, research, and writing, while contributing to a research paper published on the USLLS ADR Blog. Internship Details

Main Responsibilities:

Interns are required to conduct outreach programs in various districts of Delhi, focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in law, legal aid, and contemporary legal issues for July 2025. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in legal outreach, research, and writing. The main responsibilities of an intern are listed below:

  1. Visit designated institutions such as Old Age Homes, NGOs for children and women,
    Schools & Colleges etc. in Delhi NCR to raise awareness amongst the community about
    legal aid, ADR in the legal field and contemporary legal issues.
  2. Conduct surveys and outreach using pre-designed questionnaires
  3. Prepare weekly reports with pictures and write-ups documenting outreach activities.

Eligibility

  1. All UG law students currently enrolled in the 3-Year or 5-Year LL.B. as well as LL.M. and Ph.D. (Law) students are eligible for this internship.
  2. Preference will be given to law students based in Delhi and with a commitment to social responsibility, as the interns will be required to travel to various districts of Delhi to conduct the outreach work.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Perks

  1. On successful completion of the internship, the interns will receive a Certificate of Completion.
  2. Certificate of Merit will be awarded to the top-performing interns in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the program.
  3. Research reports prepared would be published on the website of the Blog.
  4. Interns will be provided with an opportunity to publish their research in the USLLS ADR Blog, based on the outcomes and information collected from the survey conducted during
    the outreach program.

1 month (July 2025).

Mode

Offline (on-site) at University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGS Indraprastha University, C-Block, Main Road, Sector 16 C, Dwarka, Delhi, 110078. Interns will also be required to visit various districts in Delhi as a part of the outreach program.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the Editorial Board of the USLLS ADR Blog. Only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment or interviews.

Important Notes:

  • No remuneration shall be provided. This is an unpaid internship programme.
  • Interns must report to the designated institution/college campus during working hours. (Mon- Fri |10am-4pm).
  • Interns must be free from college duties and academic responsibilities and must contribute 20 hours/week.
  • A maximum of two leaves would be allowed for the duration of the internship period.
