About the Internship
Silent Debt Private Limited is inviting applications from competent and motivated candidates for the position of Legal Intern.
Eligibility
- Pursuing LL.B. degree from a recognized university
- Strong interest in banking and financial laws
- Good command over legal drafting, documentation, and research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and timelines
Responsibilities
- Assisting in drafting legal notices, legal agreements, settlement drafts, and other legal communications
- Conducting legal research relating to banking laws, financial regulations, and recovery mechanisms
- Supporting arbitration proceedings and related documentation
- Assisting in matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and Section 25 of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act
- Assisting in handling loan settlement matters involving secured and unsecured loan facilities
- Supporting negotiations with creditors, banks, NBFCs, and authorized representatives
- Communicating with clients under supervision and assisting in client interactions
