About the Internship
Narendra Verma & Associates is inviting applications from law students for an internship opportunity offering practical exposure in corporate, criminal, and civil litigation matters.
The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to litigation and allied legal work. Selected interns will work closely with advocates and associates and gain experience in legal research, drafting, court proceedings, and client interactions.
Eligibility
Applications are open to:
- Students enrolled in 5-year integrated law programmes; and
- Students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. programmes.
Responsibilities
Selected interns will be expected to:
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and judgments.
- Draft legal documents including notices, affidavits, agreements, petitions, written statements, and legal opinions.
- Assist in preparing case files, briefs, and summaries for court matters.
- Attend court hearings, client meetings, and conferences with senior professionals.
- Review documents and examine legal compliance requirements.
- Assist in due diligence work relating to property, company, banking, or corporate matters.
- Support drafting of contracts, lease deeds, partnership deeds, and other agreements.
- Prepare and submit daily activity and progress reports while maintaining proper documentation and records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in Office/Online mode.
