About the Internship

Macgence is looking for a proactive Legal & Compliance Intern to support their growing legal and compliance function.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed LLB/LLM
• Interest in corporate law, data privacy, and AI regulations
• Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Close attention to detail and confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of contracts and compliance processes
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
• Exposure to data protection laws (GDPR, DPDP Act, etc.)
• Previous internship experience in legal/compliance
• Interest in tech, AI, or the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts (NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, etc.)
• Support compliance with legal, regulatory, and data protection requirements
• Help maintain and update company policies, compliance trackers, and documentation
• Conduct legal research on corporate, labor, and data privacy laws
• Assist in reviewing client agreements related to AI/data annotation projects
• Support internal audits, due diligence, and risk assessments
• Coordinate with HR, operations, and business teams for compliance-related matters.

Duration

3–6 months.
