FortiFend Legal is a Hyderabad-based law firm focused on intellectual property rights, commercial contracts, and corporate advisory. They work with startups, SMEs, and established businesses on trademark, copyright, patent enforcement, licensing, and transaction documentation. 

Eligibility

• 3rd/4th/5th year law student (5-year integrated course) or 2nd/3rd year LL.B. student from a recognised university.
• Strong grasp of contract law, IP law (Trade Marks Act, Copyright Act, Patents Act basics), and corporate law (Companies Act, 2013).
• Excellent legal research and drafting skills (sample drafting task may be given).
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and legal research databases (Manupatra, SCC Online, or equivalent). 

Responsibilities

As an Intern at FortiFend Legal, you will handle core responsibilities typical of a law firm practice in India, specifically:

• IP research – Prior art searches, trademark availability checks, and copyright registration formalities.
• Corporate legal support – Assisting with due diligence, company incorporation documents, and board resolutions.
• Legal documentation – Preparing case briefs, legal notices, cease-and-desist letters, and responses to IP objections.
• Client coordination – Maintaining case trackers, and organising contract databases (under supervision).
• Compliance tracking – Monitoring IP renewal deadlines and corporate filing requirements.
