About the Internship
Cosmic is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join its Legal Team. The internship provides practical exposure to corporate legal matters, startup formation, intellectual property, and compliance-related work, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in gaining experience in an in-house legal setting.
Eligibility
- Candidates pursuing or having recently completed an LL.B. (4th or 5th year) or LL.M. degree.
- Preference for candidates from leading law schools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), commercial agreements, and other legal documents.
- Assist the legal team in reviewing and preparing shareholder agreements.
- Conduct legal research on corporate laws, intellectual property rights, and regulatory developments affecting the business.
- Maintain legal records, contract repositories, intellectual property databases, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Operations teams, and external consultants, on legal and compliance matters.
Stipend
Paid internship (well compensated).
Duration
Minimum 3 months.
