About the Internship

About the Project: Their Gender and Law Project aims to explore and analyze the impact of legal frameworks on gender equality. The research will focus on critical issues such as gender-based violence, reproductive rights, gender discrimination, and the role of law in promoting or hindering gender justice. This project seeks to uncover legal gaps, propose reforms, and contribute to the broader discourse on gender and law.

Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Gender Studies, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in gender issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal databases and research tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on topics related to gender and law.
- Review and analyze relevant case law, statutes, and legal literature.
- Assist in drafting research papers, reports, and policy briefs.
- Collaborate with project leads on data collection, interviews, and fieldwork (if applicable).
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on research findings.
- Assist in organizing webinars, workshops, or conferences related to the project.
