Eligibility

• Pursuing LLB/ LLM from a recognised Indian university
• Fresher with internship experience in corporate, business, environmental and business law exposure.
• Strong drafting skills and experience. Excellent verbal and written communication; command over the English language
• Good legal research skills with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; good understanding of Contract law

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various Commercial and other Agreements
• Following up with the business teams and ensuring that the agreements that are sent out from the Legal Department are duly executed by the parties, and maintaining records thereof
• Support and manage to collation of the required data from the business/ supporting functions for timely closure
• Maintaining and updating the MIS, especially related to litigation matters handled by and against the Company
• Responsible for managing and supporting the compliance related to business, technical functions
• Review of existing operations policies/ processes/ SOPs/ and development of new SOPs/ Processes/ Internal guidelines
• Perform Risk Assessment for functions to identify, evaluate & analyse risk and prepare a treatment plan/ SOP and implement the same for mitigation in a timely manner
• Develop training and awareness material on various compliance matters and conduct training for relevant stakeholders
• Analyse due diligence reports and initiate activities/ processes to rectify/ comply with the negative remarks/ observations
• Maintain a central data repository of all agreements and other legal documents.
• Any other matters/ activities related to any legal/ statutory compliances
