How did you apply?
Advocate Prashant M. Harne sir’s son had also done law from JLU so I contacted him for asking for the internship and then he provided me with the internship.
Work profile/ main task
I read case files in which I get to know the practical aspects of suits and petitions which includes knowing what language should be adopted while drafting the suit or petition and the skills required for drafting. Also, what documents need to be attached with the suit or petitions, and which documents are mandatory and very important to attach.
Then I attended and observed court hearings and cross-examination of the witness. Made case briefs of files pertaining to the cases of the NI Act, Family Law, Civil Law, IT Act, Criminal Law, Consumer Law, Environmental Law, and Motor Vehicles Act. Assisted in the preparation and filing of Civil as well as Criminal lawsuits.
Work Environment
The work environment was good as Prashant sir was affable and he used to solve our all doubts whether it’s related to the meaning of the Hindi term in the suit or petition or whether it’s very basic doubt about the understanding of the law and its provisions. He explains it in a very easy way with examples. All co-interns were also cooperative, supportive and helpful persons.
Good Things
The best part of this internship was that all the interns got the opportunity to learn the law in a practical aspect and got to witness the hearings of the court.

There were no such bad things in this internship
