About National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi

National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL) was established by Act No. 4 of Jharkhand State Assembly in 2010. The University has subsequently been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) in September 2011 u/s 22, u/s 12B in the year 2018 of the UGC Act of 1956 and Bar Council of India (BCI). The University started functioning in September 2010. At present, the University has more than 600 students on rolls in the undergraduate course.

About the Internship 

This internship will revolve around one month and during the course of which students will be required to research nuances of Intellectual property law and other related fields in this realm. 

Interns will be required to select a topic for their case study on topics related to IPR before the commencement of their internship. The nature of the topic is required to have a socio-legal aspect of IPR.

The selection criteria for the internship will consist of two round:

1. CV selection

2. Interview

After the concerned student has been shortlisted for the interview round, he/she is required to appear before the panel with his/her topic in which the applicant is interested. The panel will then deliberate on whether or not the selected topic is

suitable for the internship. If found suitable the intern will be required to continue with it otherwise the topic shall be amended or the applicant shall be assigned a topic during the course of the interview itself.

P.S.: The topic submitted by the applicant should belong to only one single domain out of the aforementioned domains of Intellectual Property Law. Applicants will not be allowed to choose topics that belong to different domains.

Eligibility

Applicants for this internship should be either pursuing their Under Graduate or Post Graduate Legal studies in a collge/University recognized by Bar Council of India or any other institution of prominence within India or Abroad.
