About the Internship

Charlewar Associates, a renowned legal firm specializing in Criminal and Civil matters is seeking a motivated and dedicated Legal Intern to join their team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the legal field and working alongside experienced attorneys on a variety of cases and projects.

Eligibility

• Law students of any semester.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing cases and projects.
• Draft legal documents, such as memos, briefs, contracts, and correspondence, and Conduct evidence to support legal arguments under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Attend client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings to observe and assist as necessary.
• Organize and maintain case files, documents, and other pertinent records.
• Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phones.

Mode of Internship

This is In-house and Virtual internship position.

Duration of Internship

The internship duration is of one month with the possibility of extension based on performance and starts from 15 April -15 May 2024.
