About Call for Papers

The International Conference on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) seeks to provide a comprehensive platform for scholarly engagement on amicable, efficient, and cost-effective mechanisms for dispute resolution. ADR plays a pivotal role in reducing the burden on judicial institutions, expediting the resolution process, and enhancing access to justice. This Conference aims to bring together legal professionals, academicians, policymakers, researchers, and industry experts to deliberate upon global best practices, innovative frameworks, and comparative perspectives relating to arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and online dispute resolution (ODR). It intends to encourage meaningful dialogue on contemporary developments and emerging trends in ADR at both national and international levels.

The scope of the Conference is broad and interdisciplinary, covering diverse domains including commercial, family, labour, environmental, investment, and technology-driven disputes. It also seeks to examine and analyse significant international instruments and frameworks, such as the UNCITRAL Model Law and the Singapore Convention on Mediation, in the context of strengthening ADR systems worldwide. The Conference is expected to foster enhanced international collaboration, generate policy and legislative recommendations, promote capacity building through skill enhancement, and contribute to research and academic scholarship in the field of ADR. Ultimately, it aspires to advance the acceptance and institutionalisation of ADR mechanisms as effective tools for ensuring judicial efficiency, commercial certainty, and a culture of consensual dispute resolution
