 About the Organisation

The Centralised Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CCGPC), GGSIPU, functions as the nodal body for facilitating career opportunities, internships, and professional development initiatives for students of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The Cell for International Law and Governance (CILG), USLLS, GGSIPU, is an academic body dedicated to advancing understanding and dialogue in international law, policy, and global governance. Both the Cells are committed to creating awareness and discourse through lectures, workshops, and discussions on contemporary legal issues.

About the Event

The CCGPC, GGSIPU, in association with CILG, USLLS, GGSIPU, is organising a guest lecture on “LOAC and Large-Scale Combat Operations in the Existing International Law Regime” by Dr. Aurel Sari, Associate Professor at the University of Exeter and Fellow at NATO Allied Command Transformation.

Dr. Sari is a distinguished expert in international operational law and has extensively advised global institutions on the legal complexities of modern warfare. The session will examine the Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) in the context of contemporary conflicts, particularly Ukraine and Gaza, offering both doctrinal and practical insights.
