About the Job
The Consultant will work as part of Deloitte’s Cyber Team and will be responsible for supporting clients on data protection, privacy compliance, risk assessments, data governance, and privacy frameworks.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE, or other related certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients.
- Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
- Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies based on client requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application privacy impact assessments, and related matters.
- Design and build security and privacy frameworks.
- Design or redesign processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
