About Cell for Studies in Intellectual Property Rights

The Cell for Studies in Intellectual Property Rights (CSIPR) at NLIU, Bhopal, is an academic initiative aimed at fostering research and discourse in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The Cell seeks to engage students, researchers, academicians, and professionals through conferences, workshops, and scholarly publications, including its annual flagship publication, the NLIU IPR Law Journal. Through these initiatives, CSIPR endeavours to promote critical engagement with contemporary developments in intellectual property law.

About the Conference

The Conference will be held on 7th–8th March 2026 at NLIU Bhopal and aims to serve as a national academic forum for engaging with emerging and contemporary issues in intellectual property law in light of technological advancements, innovation-driven markets, and evolving regulatory frameworks.

The Conference seeks to encourage high-quality academic research and facilitate dialogue between academia and legal practitioners. It will feature offline paper presentation sessions at NLIU Bhopal, along with a limited number of hybrid (online) presentation slots, to ensure meaningful academic engagement while enabling broader participation.

Eligibility

The Conference is open to:

• Undergraduate students
• Postgraduate students
• Research scholars
• Academicians
• Legal professionals

Submissions may be made by a single author or jointly by a maximum of two authors.

Theme

Contemporary Issues in Intellectual Property Law

(Submissions addressing any contemporary or emerging issue within the broader scope of intellectual property law are welcome.)

Registration and Submission Details

• Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 24th February 2026
• Notification of Acceptance: 26th February 2026
• Deadline for Submission of Full Manuscripts: 5th March 2026
• Conference Dates: 7th–8th March 2026

Only the first 35 registrants opting for online presentation shall be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Remaining 50 selected participants shall present their papers in offline mode at NLIU Bhopal.

Registration Fees

• Phase I Registration: ₹1,000/- per paper (mandatory at the time of abstract submission)
• Phase II Registration:
  • Offline Presentation: ₹5,000/- per paper
  • Online Presentation: ₹2,500/- per paper
