About the Job

The Office of the Vice Dean for Clinical Legal Education of Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), O.P. Jindal Global University is looking to hire a Clinical Lecturer of Law for the Criminal Justice Clinic: A Legal Aid Initiative.

Eligibility

• An LLM degree or other equivalent postgraduate qualification,
• Advocacy experience of a minimum of five years in criminal law, Membership in the Bar in India, and at least two years of criminality litigation experience.
• Experience in writing reports and publishing journal articles.
• A strong commitment to social justice and reflective learning.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Clinics.
• Working on projects of the clinic which include research, litigation and other forms of intervention.
• Working with the Office of the Vice Dean for Clinical Legal Education on administrative tasks, national and international collaborations, grant applications, etc.
• Disseminating the visibility of Clinical Legal endeavours and achievements on social media platforms.
• Accelerate initiatives around the institutionalisation of Clinical Legal Education in JGLS.
