About the Job

The Office of the Vice Dean for Clinical Legal Education of Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), O.P. Jindal Global University is looking to hire a Clinical Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Law for the Environment Law Clinic. 

Eligibility

•  An LLM degree or other equivalent postgraduate qualifications, 
• Advocacy experience of a minimum of five years in environmental law, which shall include one year of experience in clinical pedagogy,  
• Experience in writing reports/articles
• A strong commitment to social justice and reflective learning. 
• Coursework experience in clinical pedagogical at an LLM Programme and/or clinical teaching experience is preferred. 

Responsibilities

• Teaching Clinics 
• Managing the day-to-day work of the Clinic 
• Work with the Office of the Vice Dean for Clinical Legal Education on administrative tasks, national and international collaborations, grant applications, etc. 
• Disseminating the visibility of Clinical Legal endeavors and achievements on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, to regularly inform the public regarding ongoing projects and significant milestones achieved by the team. 
• Accelerate initiatives around the institutionalization of Clinical Legal Education in JGLS.
