About the Centre for Women, Law and Social Change

The Centre for Women, Law and Social Change has been established to advance inter-disciplinary approaches to Feminism in teaching, research and policy advocacy. Along with an academic commitment to high-quality research in the field of gender and the Centre aims to actively contribute to wider legal thinking on issues related to social justice. The Centre aims to support the initiatives of all the Centres at Jindal Global University, and actively collaborate with international, national and grassroots organisations.

Submissions are welcome for opinion pieces, review of research works, book/film/ theatre reviews, poems, vlogs, and art pieces surrounding the theme of Digital Intimate-Partner Violence and COVID-19.

We are interested but not restricted to critical insights into online and off-line relationship dynamics, social media, and women’s objectification, impacts of IPV on well-being, financial dominance and understanding IPV in relationships beyond gender binaries.

About the opportunity

The Gender, Law, and Social Change Initiative is pleased to announce a call for submissions for its blog for the August 2021 issue.

Submission Guidelines

1. All submissions must be made by 30th August 2021 (Monday 5.00 pm).

2. The submissions must be made to [email protected] and copy the mail to [email protected]

3. All sources that have been referred to must be cited. Plagiarism is not acceptable. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism.

4. All submissions will be examined and reviewed.  All contributors will be expected to adhere to editorial amendments and suggestions.

5. All contributors are also requested to include a short note on themselves.

6. The subject of the email must be in the following pattern: GLSC Submission | August Issue | Title of Submission/ Untitled.
