About the Opportunity

NUSRL Law Review invites Call for Papers for the inaugural Volume 1, 2026 of NUSRL Law Review (NLR).

Themes

Submissions are for a multidisciplinary theme and welcome contemporary issues. However, preferred themes include:

  • Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Laws
  • Artificial Intelligence and Legal Regulation
  • Environmental Law and Climate Change Policy
  • Human Rights and Social Justice
  • Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance
  • International Trade Law
  • Consumer Laws
  • Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Age

Eligibility

  • Open to scholars, legal practitioners, and students. Co-authorship up to two authors (relaxable).
  • Submission Categories
  • Research Paper: Up to 10,000 words
  • Long Articles: Above 5,000 words
  • Short Articles/Essays: 3,000-5,000 words
  • Book Reviews/Case-Legislative Comments: 1,500-3,000 words
    Word limits exclusive of footnotes; must be analytical, not descriptive.

Formatting Guidelines

Manuscript:

  • A4 size, 1-inch margins
  • Times New Roman, 12 pt, 0.5 line spacing, justified
  • Headings: I, II (1st); A, B (2nd); 1., 2. (3rd)

Footnotes:

  • Times New Roman, 10 pt, 1.0 spacing, justified
  • Bluebook 20th Edition (prefer SCC/AIR for cases)
  • Abstract: ≤250 words; 5 keywords.

Submission Guidelines

  • Original, unpublished work; no AI/plagiarism (>15% rejected via Turnitin)
  • DOCX format; no identifying info in manuscript
  • File name: “Author Name_Title”.

Editorial Policy

Three-tier double-blind peer review: Preliminary screening, substantive review, final faculty check. The board may suggest changes; the right to reject at any stage.

Deadline

Manuscripts due: May 31, 2026 (review within 6 weeks).
