Established in the year 2003 by the Government of Chhattisgarh, Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, is one of India’s premier National Law Universities named after the distinguished jurist and former Chief Justice of India, Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah. Guided by the motto “Dharma Sansthapanartham”—which translates to “for the sake of establishing the primacy of laws of eternal values”—the University has emerged as a vibrant hub for legal scholarship, interdisciplinary research, and policy-oriented discourse.

About the International Conference

In an era marked by rapid globalisation and technological advancements, the legal landscape governing corporate entities, financial markets, and international commerce is undergoing significant transformation. Recognising the imperative to address these evolving challenges, Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, is organising the International Conference on Corporate Law, Arbitration, Taxation, and Securities Trends. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd November 2025, this virtual conference will convene leading academics, practitioners, policymakers, and researchers from around the world to engage in critical discourse on contemporary legal issues.

The symposium aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on the complexities of corporate governance, dispute resolution mechanisms, fiscal policies, and securities regulation. By facilitating discussions on both domestic and international legal frameworks, the event seeks to foster a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these domains.

The above themes are indicative in nature. Authors may take up any other themes aligning with the central theme of the conference.

Mode of Conference

The symposium will be conducted in a physical format at HNLU campus.

  • Notification of Acceptance of Abstract: Thursday, 14th August 2025
  • Final Registration Deadline
    • Early-bird: Thursday, 21st August 2025
    • Full fee: Tuesday, 9th September 2025
  • Date of Conference: Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November 2025
  • Final Paper Submission (Post-Conference): Tuesday, 28th October 2025

Note:

  • In case of co-authorship, each author must register individually. A maximum of two authors per paper is permitted.
  • The fee submitted will not be refundable.
  • All meals during the conference are included in the registration fee, whereas any meals beyond the conference dates shall be borne by the participants. (From breakfast on 20th September 2025 to Hi-Tea on 21st September 2025)
  • Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Presenters seeking accommodation may indicate this at the time of registration, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accommodation fee (Rs 500/- per person per day)

1. The accommodation shall be provided at the University Hostel (Non-AC, non-attached accommodation with 1 Bed, 1 Mattress, 2 sheets, 1 Blanket, 1 Chair & Table set, 1 set of Toiletries), for which the participants shall abide by the University Hostel Rules. The University provides separate hostels for boys and girls.

2. The accommodation fee shall cover lodging from 6 pm, 19.09.2025, to 10 am, 22.09.2025.

Best Presenters for each technical session will receive a ‘Best Presentation Certificate’

Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts should be 700 to 1000 words, clearly outlining the research question, methodology, and key findings.
  • Submissions must be made through the designated Google Form.
  • All abstracts will undergo a peer-review process, and selected authors will be notified by the specified date.

Publication Opportunity

Select papers including the comments and suggestions from the experts received during the technical sessions will be published in an edited book with ISBN.
