AVI Foundation is a collective of intellectual, highly spirited, and enthusiastic beings of this planet who are working towards a better future. The foundation is spearheaded by a dynamic young Doctor from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India – Dr. Jerryl Banait. This foundation is expanding worldwide with its goal to bring change to society and work for a better future. Dr. Banait’s family has been working in the field of social work for the past 30 years ranging from Wildlife, Environment, and Medical Aid to the needy. The journal is dedicated to exploring diverse facets of legal studies and embraces the principle that research should not be confined solely to legal doctrine but should encompass a wide spectrum of subjects and perspectives.

About Call for Papers | Volume 2 Issue 1 (January 2024 – June 2024)

The present Call for Papers stands for the month from January 2024 to June 2024. The deadline for Submissions is 15th May 2024. The “ALRJ” cordially invites original and previously unpublished manuscripts from the entire spectrum of academia, accomplished authors, legal professionals, and enthusiastic law students. Our mission is to foster a vibrant intellectual exchange and provide a platform for the free expression of ideas and insights, thereby contributing to the enrichment of legal scholarship and the democratization of knowledge.

Eligibility

The “ALRJ” cordially invites original and previously unpublished manuscripts from the entire spectrum of academia, accomplished authors, legal professionals, and enthusiastic law students.

Formatting Guidelines

Manuscripts should be formatted on A4-sized paper, using Times New Roman font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and 1-inch margins on all sides. Footnotes should use Times New Roman font size 10 and be single-spaced. Authors are required to adhere to the Bluebook (20th edition) Uniform System of Citation.

Submission Guidelines

To submit your manuscript for consideration in Volume 2 Issue 1 of the AVI’s Legal Research Journal | ALRJ, please follow these guidelines:​

  • Types of Contributions: Authors are welcome to contribute to ALRJ in the format of an Article only.
  • Word Count: Articles should fall within the range of 1500 – 3000 words, including footnotes.
  • Abstract: All submissions must include a concise abstract of no more than 300 words and 3-5 keywords. This abstract should outline the main idea, the article’s objectives, and its key conclusions.
  • Co-Authorship: Each submission is limited to a maximum of three authors.
  • Formatting: Manuscripts should be formatted on A4-sized paper, using Times New Roman font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and 1-inch margins on all sides. Footnotes should use Times New Roman font size 10 and be single-spaced.
  • Citation Style: Authors are required to adhere to the Bluebook (20th edition) Uniform System of Citation.
  • Anonymity: Submissions should not contain any identification of the author(s). Such identification will result in the rejection of the submission. Author details, including contact information, designation, institutional affiliation, and address, should be provided in the covering letter accompanying the submission.
  • Originality: Submissions must be the original work of the authors. Any form of plagiarism will lead to the immediate rejection of the submission.
  • Acknowledgment: Properly acknowledge all relevant sources as footnotes. The Editorial Board’s decision in this regard will be final.
  • AI Content Policy: It is essential to note that submissions should not contain any AI-generated or AI-assisted content. Manuscripts found in violation of this policy will be rejected.

Submission Categories

Research Articles with a word limit of 1,500-3,000 excluding Abstract with a word limit of 250-300.

  • Last Date for Submission of Manuscript: 15th May, 2024
  • Communication for Selection & Payment of Publication Fees: 15th May, 2024 – 25th May, 2024
  • Research Article Presentation: June 2024
  • Publication Week: 24th June, 2024 – 30th June, 2024

Submission Procedure

Authors are kindly requested to follow these steps for submitting their manuscripts:

  1. Prepare your manuscript in electronic format in either .doc or .docx format.
  2. Send your manuscript via email to [email protected].
  3. In the subject line of your email, please use the following format: “Submission – [Name of Author] – Volume II Issue 1”.
  4. When naming your document file, please adhere to this format: “[Name of Author(s)] – [Title of Submission]”.
  5. Along with your manuscript, please include a cover letter in the body of the email. This cover letter should provide the following information:
  6. Contact details of the author(s).
  7. Designation(s) of the author(s).
  8. Institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s).
  9. Author(s) address.

Once you have completed these steps, your submission will be under review by our editorial board.
