About HNLU
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) is a public law school and a National Law University located in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It was named after the former Chief Justice of India, Mohammad Hidayatullah. It is one of the autonomous law schools in India and seventh in the series of such national law schools. It was established as a centre for legal excellence by the Government of Chhattisgarh under the Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh Act (Act No.10 of 2003). The university offers a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) integrated Program, an L.L.M. Program, and a PhD Course.
About the Opportunity
The DPIIT- IPR Chair of HNLU invites applications for the position of two Research Assistant positions under the DPIIT-IPR Chair, established as part of the SPRIHA (Scheme of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade).
Eligibility
The candidates to possess an LL.M. degree with IP specialization or experience working in the field of IPR with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university or an accredited foreign institution.
Candidates with prior research experience and proficiency in legal software, as well as those skilled in organizing academic events, will be given preference.
Duration
The positions are contractual for one year and can be extended up to three years with satisfactory appraisal.
Salary
The position carries a consolidated monthly emolument of ₹40,000 per month and also has a Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) of Rs 75000 p.a. from the University conference participation in India and Abroad.

Roles and Responsibilities
The appointed Research Assistants will assist the IPR Chair in research activities, develop academic modules, organize intellectual property-related events, and take on academic and administrative responsibilities, including some teaching assignments.
