The Tamil Nadu Legal Rights Consortium (TNLRC), functioning under the National Legal Rights Consortium of WICCI (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), is committed to promoting legal awareness, social justice, and community empowerment. TNLRC works towards bridging the gap between legal rights and practical access to justice, particularly for women and marginalized communities. Through awareness campaigns, outreach programmes, and collaborative initiatives, the consortium aims to create an informed and legally empowered society.

About the opportunity

TNLRC is pleased to announce its Brochure Designing Competition 2026, an initiative aimed at promoting legal literacy through creative expression. This competition invites students to transform legal knowledge into accessible and outreach-friendly content. Participants are encouraged to design an informative brochure that simplifies complex legal provisions while maintaining accuracy and clarity. The competition serves as a platform for young legal minds to combine research, creativity, and social responsibility in spreading awareness about important rights-based issues.

Theme

“Sexual Harassment and the Right to Access Free Legal Aid”

Participants are invited to design a brochure addressing:

  • Awareness of sexual harassment and available legal protections
  • Rights of victims under Indian law
  • Complaint mechanisms and redressal procedures
  • The process and availability of free legal aid

The brochure should be informative, legally sound and accessible to the general public.

Eligibility

The competition is open to students pursuing:

  • 5-Year Integrated LL.B.
  • 3-Year LL.B.

Participants may register individually or in teams of a maximum of two members.

Registration Fee

There is no registration fee

Evaluation criteria

Submissions will be assessed based on:

  1. Relevance and legal accuracy
  2. Clarity and simplicity of information
  3. Creativity and originality

Prizes

  • Certificates of Excellence for the Top 3 entries
  • Certificates of Participation for all eligible participants
  • The Top 5 brochures will be featured on TNLRC’s official social media platforms

Important Dates

  • Submissions Open: 25 February 2026
  • Submissions Close: 07 March 2026 (Extended from 4th March)
  • Announcement of Results: 07 March 2026
