About the Job

SDS Advocates is looking to add one Associate/Senior Associate to the corporate team (non-litigation) as per the below description:

• Department: Corporate Team (non-litigation)
• Nature of Job: Retainership basis (full-time)
• Designation: Senior Associate

Eligibility

• Qualification: BBA/BA.LLB (5 year course)
• Post Qualification Experience(Internship duration to be excluded), Minimum 2 years PQE (preferably in law firm)

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Drafting/Vetting of various transactional agreements;
• Drafting opinions;
• Responsible for transaction handling;
• Research on various areas of laws;
• Client handling and meetings;
• Negotiation;
• Team building and knowledge sharing;
• Tracking Updates and preparing the same for the Firm

Brief about the profile/Areas of Law

• Banking and Finance, Fintech, Mergers, IBC,
• Capital Market, AIF & allied SEBI Regulations;
• Structured Finance;
• General Corporate;
• Family Offices/Estate Planning;
• Digital Personal Data Protection;
• Due Diligence
• NCDS and CCDs issuance/Investment Laws
• Digital Lending; and
• Other transaction advisories and research.

Salary

Will be discussed based on candidate’s relevant experience and knowledge. Yearly Bonus: To be paid separately and discussed during the interview

• Past Experience:  Candidate with past Law firm working experience (non-litigation) in general corporate, banking and finance, real estate and transaction teams;
