About the Job
As an Associate Legal Counsel in our Digital Advisory team, you’ll contribute to legal innovation by supporting the Group Digital and Technology Office. This entry-level position offers exceptional learning and growth opportunities in a creative business environment where your enthusiasm, curiosity, and legal knowledge will contribute to the technological advancement.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of experience in legal practice
- Basic understanding of technology agreements and data privacy regulations
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly
- Fluency in English – both spoken and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities
- Interest in regulatory frameworks affecting technology implementation
Responsibilities
- Support internal clients in providing timely legal advice to the Group Digital and Technology Office on matters related to new technologies
- Assist in drafting and reviewing technology agreements including cloud solutions, data agreements, software licenses, and innovation collaborations
- Research and analyze regulatory issues related to technology implementations and outsourcing
- Participate in internal processes across Legal & Compliance and related functions such as Risk Management or Information Security
- Monitor and report on relevant legal developments in technology, data, and security fields
- Help identify potential risks through legal research and analysis, particularly regarding data usage and basic intellectual property considerations
- Contribute to the development of internal guidelines and procedures for new digital initiatives
- Prepare materials for training sessions on legal risks with a focus on innovation
- Coordinate with external legal counsel under supervision as needed
