Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney for the position of a Principal Associate who will head up our trademark and copyright practice (non-contentious).  

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of non-contentious trade mark and copyright prosecution, including strategic advice on availability of marks for registration and use, risk assessment, all other type of advisory work on trade marks and copyrights, trade mark and copyright filings, responding to objections, hearings at the Trade Mark Registry and Copyright Office, and all aspects of portfolio management in India. 

About the Job

Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is expanding litigation practice area and is looking, on an urgent basis, for candidates at various levels:

Eligibility

• Two associate level candidates with 1-2 years of PQE who have law firm experience in IP litigation with a focus on trademark and copyrights.
• A Senior Associate with 4 plus years of PQE with experience in a law firm in IP litigation with a focus on trademark and copyrights. Good drafting skills, some court room experience and ability to juggle multiple matters are a must.
• An experienced Senior Associate with 6 plus years of PQE and solid law firm experience in IP litigation and enforcement with a focus on trademark and copyrights. Excellent drafting skills, court room experience, ability to juggle multiple matters and supervise a small team are a must.
