Eligibility

Patent Associate with expertise in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Patent Prosecution and Opposition. The Patent Associate should be a Patent Agent.  LLB. Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineer. PQE – 1 to 2 years experience in Patent prosecution and opposition, including managing/attending hearings before the Indian Patent Office.

Responsibilities

• Patent Drafting & Filing: Craft specifications that cover the techno-legal aspects of patentable inventions.
• Examination Report Responses: Prepare responses to examination reports from the Indian Patent Office.
• Hearing Management: Manage Hearings before the Indian Patent Office and prepare responses.
• Patent Analysis: Conduct comprehensive patent analysis, including prior art searches, invalidity searches, and freedom-to-operate searches.

Location

The position is for Mumbai/Chennai.
