The firm is expanding its team and seeking applications for the position of Associates to contribute to its Insolvency & Bankruptcy practice at its Chandigarh office.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), or be a qualified or semi-qualified Company Secretary.

Desired Qualities in an ideal candidate:

• Minimum post qualification experience of at least 2 years about the CIRP and Liquidation procedures under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code and other corporate & commercial laws.
• Highest standards of honesty, integrity, exhibit confidence.
• Keenness to learn and tackle challenges.
• Proficiency in English; both written and spoken.
• Grasp of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

The role of an Associate shall involve a multifaceted approach to supporting the Insolvency Professional (IP) in various capacities.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Assisting in drafting legal documents, reports, pleadings etc for submission to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)
• Preparing agendas and minutes for creditor meetings,
• Reporting to regulatory bodies.
• Managing daily communications with stakeholders
• Providing steadfast support throughout the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and Liquidation process.
