About the Job

Metalegal Advocates is looking forward to engaging and retaining an Associate (Advocate) for the practice of economic offences.

Eligibility

Qualification – The candidate should be a qualified advocate (LLB), desirably having a PQE of 3-4 years, with a passion for learning and practising a variety of laws, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

The engagement would primarily involve:

• advising the clients on matters pertaining to Economic Offences.
• providing legal counsel to clients on issues related to Economic Offences.
• drafting and reviewing petitions, agreements, MoUs, appeals and other such related documents,
• handling multiple case scenarios pertaining to Economic Offences.
• handholding the clients through litigations, meditation proceedings, and/or general advisory (including drafting pleadings, replies, appeals, petitions etc. before various forums)
• researching and writing articles/white papers, etc.
  There would be opportunities to represent the clients before various forums from time to time and based on experience in the case as well as law.
