Roles and Responsibilities

Job profile: The candidate will be expected to handle matters independently and must possess good drafting and research skills.

Scope of Work : The associate in the course of his/ her work would be tasked with the following responsibilities, including, but not restricted to, the following:

Drafting of pleadings/requisite documentation for pursuing matters before various judicial fora;
Preparation of case notes/precis/written arguments for the purposes of case management and briefings;
Briefing of senior counsel engaged to appear in particular matters;
Appearance and argument in judicial forums and complete file management;
Legal research in relation to assigned cases;
Assist in the prompt filing and listing of cases upon assignment and associated procedural paraphernalia.
