About the Job

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Advocate at a litigation practice based in Fort, Mumbai. The office is empanelled as Senior Panel Counsel for the Central Government and undertakes a diverse range of litigation matters across multiple forums.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation
• Prior internship experience in litigation and/or arbitration
• Sound understanding of legal drafting and court procedure
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Diligent, responsible, and proactive approach to work
• Intention to commit to the role on a long-term basis (minimum one year)

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mumbai. Working knowledge of Marathi will be an advantage.

Nature of Work

The role offers exposure to:

• Civil and criminal litigation matters
• Arbitration proceedings

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and legal research
• Briefing counsel
• Court appearances across various forums in Mumbai and Pune

Working Hours

9:45 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday

Professional Fee

Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 20,000 per month
