About the Job
Maruti Suzuki India Limited is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager (Litigation). The role involves handling litigation matters across various forums, courts, tribunals, and government authorities, along with advising business teams on legal and litigation-related issues.
Eligibility
Applicants should:
- Possess relevant post-qualification experience of 3–6 years
- Have litigation experience
- Demonstrate drafting and representation skills
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing draft replies, applications, evidence, affidavits, and writ petitions relating to consumer, civil, commercial, arbitration, criminal, and other specialised litigation matters
- Handling and regularly updating management regarding the status of litigations pending before various forums, courts, and tribunals
- Advising, appearing, and representing the company before courts, tribunals, commissions, and government authorities
- Coordinating with lawyers, consultants, and internal stakeholders for preparing replies and submissions and managing end-to-end litigation matters
- Advising business teams on day-to-day legal and litigation-related queries
- Conducting or coordinating legal research and updating stakeholders on new judgments and laws
