About the Job

The legal team at Lionsgate Play is hiring for a full-time, Work From Office (WFO) role based in Mumbai.

As a member of the legal team, you will support content acquisition, partnerships, original productions, and product teams. The role involves working closely with multiple departments to provide legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate legal risks across various matters in the entertainment industry.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of legal work within the media & entertainment sector.

Eligibility

• 2–4 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), with a significant portion within the media & entertainment industry or serving clients in the said industry
• Completed a five-year integrated law degree course from a reputable law school
• Comprehensive understanding of:
  • Contract Law
  • Copyright & Trademark Law
  • Data Protection Law
  • Emerging regulations around AI
  • Regulations governing the media & entertainment industry
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
