About the Job
Limagrain is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Legal under its Legal function.
The role focuses on contract management, litigation filing and tracking, follow-up on legal matters and coordination with external counsel.
Responsibilities
- Understanding legal requirements across different geographies relevant to the company and ensuring compliance.
- Drafting and maintaining replies to customer correspondence, legal notices, written statements and other legal replies.
- Supporting the management of legal processes for claims, including issuing legal notices.
- Preparing and maintaining MIS reports for all legal cases and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating with external counsel on litigation matters.
- Supporting data gathering for drafting and maintaining legal records.
- Representing the company before courts, tribunals and government authorities.
- Drafting documents including application forms, agreements, contracts, affidavits, undertakings and MOUs as required.
