About the Job

YES BANK is hiring Legal Professionals for the role of Assistant Legal Counsel, focusing on wholesale banking and non-litigation work.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (mandatory), LL.M. preferred
• 3–8 years of experience (non-litigation)
• Experience in wholesale banking / financial services (preferred from Indian private banks)
• Candidates from top law schools preferred
• Strong knowledge of banking laws (RBI regulations, Companies Act, Contract Act, etc.)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and agreements
• Provide legal advisory to business, HR, compliance, and risk teams
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and banking laws
• Support litigation and coordinate with external counsel
• Identify legal risks and suggest mitigation strategies
• Assist in policy drafting, governance, and legal processes
• Liaise with regulators and stakeholders
