About National Law University, Delhi
National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) is one of the best if not the greatest of the National Law Universities in India, situated in Sector-14, Dwarka, Delhi. It offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As one of the national law schools in India, NLUD is built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. The National Law University Act, 2007, provides for the Chief Justice of India to be the university’s visitor, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi to function as the university’s chancellor, and its vice-chancellor to function as the chief administrator.
About Academic Fellow for Joint Masters/LL.M
The National Law University has recently launched the Joint Masters/LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Management which is being jointly offered by the National Law University Delhi (NLUD), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM – Indian IP Office).
Eligibility
Qualification
- Academic Fellow for Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law & Management
- Master’s in business administration (MBA) or a Ph.D. in Management/Economics with a demonstrated interest in Intellectual Property.
Experience: NLU Delhi Call for Applications
- 3 years of research experience in intellectual property for candidates with master’s Degrees.
- 1 year of research experience in intellectual property for candidates with Ph.D.
Duration of Contract
The appointment shall be for 12 months and any subsequent renewal is contingent on the further requirements of the project as well as an analysis of the performance of the candidate. The contract may be terminated by providing a 15-day notice from either side.
Salary
A consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 60,000/-per month will be paid. No additional benefits/perks will be provided.
The offer beyond the duration of the contract may be renewed based on the candidate’s performance.
