UILS National Moot Court Competition, 2026 – 19th – 21st March,2026).

UILS takes immense pride in presenting the Second Edition of UILS National Moot Court Competition, a premier platform designed to test and refine the legal acumen of aspiring advocates. This competition will challenge participants to engage with complex and evolving legal issues, craft persuasive and well-reasoned arguments, and demonstrate exceptional courtroom advocacy before a distinguished panel of judges, legal scholars, and seasoned practitioners. Beyond the rigor of competition, this event offers a rare opportunity to interact with legal luminaries, exchange ideas with peers from prestigious institutions across the country, and immerse oneself in the art of legal reasoning and ethical advocacy. We cordially invite you to join us for this prestigious event, where brilliant minds come together to merge strategy with intellect, and where the pursuit of excellence is the foundation of the competition.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all students enrolled bona-fide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate/Postgraduate law course (including LL.M. programs) or its equivalent conducted by any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Team Composition

A team must consist of minimum of 2 and maximum of 3, with two designated as speakers and one as researcher. In case of team of 2- member team, both individuals will be designated as speakers.

6th Justice A.S. Anand National Mediation & Negotiation Competition, 2026

In life, you may not get what you deserve, but you will definitely get what you negotiate.” With the aim of imparting Negotiation and Mediation skills to aspiring lawyers, the ADR & CCL Board, UILS presents the Sixth Edition of the Justice A.S. Anand National Mediation and Negotiation Competition, 2026 (Hybrid) to be conducted on 8th of March 2026 and 19th-21st March 2026. Participants will undergo skill development at each stage of the competition, with UILS eagerly anticipating the participation of students from across the country.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all students enrolled bona-fide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate/Postgraduate law course (including LL.M. programs) or its equivalent conducted by any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Team Composition

Team shall consist of one Mediator and the Negotiating Team consisting of one Client and one counsel.

UILS National Moot Court Competition shall be conducted entirely in an offline mode whereas the  6th Justice A.S. Anand Mediation & Negotiation  Competition, 2026 will take place in a hybrid format. Participants are requested to go through from detailed rulebook.
