About TNNLU

Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature (Act No. 9 of 2012) to provide quality legal education at the global level.

About Moot Court Committee

The Moot Court Committee (MCC) is an integral part of our institution’s commitment in providing a well-rounded legal education. The MCC has a team of 22 dedicated members from various batches, who carry out various functions such as organizing workshops, conducting moot court competitions, providing guidance & training, facilitating network and exposure, and taking important policy decisions to promote the mooting standards of the University. The MCC presently aims to bring TNNLU to the forefront of mooting and hosts the TNNLU- Antitrust National Moot Court Competition and the TNNLU-Insolvency National Moot Court Competition.

About 7^th TNNLU–Antitrust National Moot Court Competition, 2025

The Tamil Nadu National Law University is organising the 7^th TNNLU–Antitrust National Moot Court Competition, 2025 scheduled to take place on 12^th-13^th of April, 2025.

Impact of data related policies in the Social Media space vis-a-vis the competition in the domestic market.

Eligibility 

Law students duly enrolled in the 3-year LL.B. courses or 5-year integrated LL.B. courses undergraduate programmes may apply to participate in the Competition. One (1) team per Institution/University can participate in the Competition. 

Registration Fees

The teams shall be required to pay a fee of INR 5,000/- (inclusive of Accommodation) towards registration prior to filling of the form and attach proof of payment while filling the aforementioned Final Registration form. This fee shall be non-refundable in case of withdrawal by a team.

The important dates of the 7^th TNNLU-Antitrust National Moot Court Competition, 2025 are as detailed below: 

• February 18, 2025 – Release of Moot Proposition, Rulebook and Brochure
• February 24, 2025 – Last Date for Provisional Registration
• March 8, 2025 – Last Date for Final Registration
• March 10, 2025– Last date for seeking clarifications
• March 14, 2025– Release of clarifications
• April 4, 2025 – Last Date for Submission of Memorials (Soft Copy)
• April 11, 2025 – Inaugural Ceremony, Orientation & Researcher’s Test
• April 12, 2025 – Preliminary & Quarter-Final Rounds
• April 13, 2025 – Semi-Finals, Finale & Valedictory Ceremony.

Registration Procedure

All Institutions interested in participation may provisionally register themselves by sending an email to [email protected] and thereby reserve a slot for the institution on or before 11:59PM (IST) of 24^th February 2025. Final Registration shall be completed March 8^th 2025 (11:59 PM)
