About the Competition

The Gavelled National Moot Court Competition stands as the flagship event of our School of Law, dedicated to hosting a prestigious national-level moot court competition.

This year’s moot problem delves into a socio-criminal issue faced by innocent people living in our society. It involves different laws of criminal jurisprudence like the Penal Code, the Evidence Act, and the Procedural Code which shall be appealing for young participating counsels to tackle and they shall argue upon the same in a real-time environment. The proposition is the culmination of simple laws mixed with complex facts which shall challenge the analytical and critical thinking of the students and bring the best out of them.
