About the Competition

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Legal Studies is elated to announce the 4th AIU National Moot Court Competition, scheduled to be held from 21st to 23rd February 2025. Under the auspices of the distinguished Association of Indian Universities (AIU), this prestigious competition is dedicated to cultivating legal acumen and advocacy skills among law students nationwide.

Eligibility

  • Students duly enrolled and pursuing a five-year integrated undergraduate or a three-year graduate law program may apply to participate in this competition. 
  • Students enrolled and pursuing a post-graduate diploma or short-term certificate course in law are not eligible to apply. 
  • Students from any University/Department/Institute not recognized by the Bar Council of India to impart law degrees are not eligible to apply.
  • Only one team per institution is permitted to participate. Each team must fully comply with all specified requirements. 
  • Cross-institute teams are not allowed to participate.

Prizes

  • BEST TEAM: ₹ 51,000 along with trophy + certificate
  • RUNNER – UP TEAM: ₹ 21,000 along with trophy + certificate
  • BEST SPEAKER: ₹ 5,100 along with trophy + certificate
  • BEST RESEARCHER: ₹ 5,100 along with trophy + certificate
  • BEST MEMORIAL: ₹ 5,100 along with trophy + certificate

8th February, 2025 (Till 11:59 P.M. IST).

Registration Fee per Team (Non-Refundable)

With Accommodation: Rs. 6,000

Without Accommodation: Rs. 3,500

  • Limited Slots Available: We have a limited number of spots for teams, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to complete your registration at the earliest and not wait until the last date, as slots may fill up before the final date. Once all slots are filled, registrations will be closed, and no further entries will be accepted. Ensure your participation by registering promptly.
  • Kindly confirm the availability of accommodation slots prior to completing the registration process.
  • The confirmation of Registration will be notified to the teams by the MCS, after the completion and verification of the Registration formalities.
