About Department of Law at the AMU Centre in Malappuram
The Department of Law at the AMU Centre in Malappuram is an off-campus branch of the esteemed Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1891, the Faculty of Law is one of the oldest and top law institutions in India. It has consistently maintained high academic and research excellence, ranking 6th among Indian law colleges/universities.
AMU Centre in Malappuram, established in 2010 by the Government of India, is located at Perinthalmanna town of the Malappuram District in Kerala. The Centre offers a five-year integrated BA.LL.B(Hons) course, with a capacity of 60 students, and is recognised by the Bar Council of India.

QUIZ COMPETITION-
- A team of 2 members can participate.
- The quiz will be 70% Legal & 30% general.
- Registration fees: ₹ 300/ for the participant

LETTER TO CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA-
- write a letter to the Chief Justice of India seeking his attention or action on any issue of public interest.
- Registration fees: Free

JUDGEMENT WRITING COMPETITION-
- Registration Fees- Rs 300/-

Eligibility
- Participation is open to All law students across India.
- Location (country/state/city) (offline/online)
- Students from other universities can participate in an online mode. However, the event will be conducted in hybrid mode.
Registration Procedure
All participants must register and submit their entries through the form link provided in the Brochure. Each participant can register for one or more events separately.
Fee details
- Registration Fee: ₹300/- per event.
- Letter to CJI: Free of cost.

Prizes
- Cash Prizes and certificates for the winners and runners.
- E-certificates will be awarded to all participants.
