Concept Note

The FDP seeks to critically examine the emerging relationship between law, ethics, constitutional morality, and artificial intelligence through the lens of Hindu jurisprudential thought. As AI increasingly influences governance, adjudication, and public administration, deeper normative questions concerning justice, accountability, and ethical regulation become unavoidable.

The Programme introduces the concept of “Hinduprudence” as a contemporary scholarly engagement with Hindu legal philosophy and Dharma-based ethical reasoning. Rather than reviving ancient legal categories uncritically, the FDP encourages interdisciplinary dialogue between constitutional values, traditional jurisprudence, and technological governance.
