Centre for ADR works towards making students aware and exploring various other mechanisms that are available to resolve a dispute that arises, either between two Individuals or companies. It also paves way for a harmonious dispute resolution mechanism and aims at accrediting competent practitioners in the field of ADR. Centre for ADR aims to make society aware of the substitutes available to the lengthy legal proceedings.

The 1st Surana & Surana and Col. Dr. Jeppiaar ADR Fest, ADReformatio, The Event, Scheduled for the 25th, 26th, and 27th of February 2025. This fest aims to bring together law students from across India to engage in various Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) activities. This competition is a mixture of 3 Competitions.
Competitions
- C-Neg Competition: A combined Client Counselling and Negotiation competition where participants will demonstrate their skills in client interaction and negotiation strategies.
- Med-Arb Competition: The competition combines mediation and arbitration, challenging participants to navigate both ADR processes.
- Award Writing Competition (Online): Participants will be tasked with drafting an award based on a given arbitration case scenario.
The fest will also include an Orientation Session to guide participants, as well as ample networking opportunities to foster learning and collaboration.
Registration Fee
- Arbitral Award Writing– Registration Fee: Rs.550/ per team
- C-Neg Competition– Registration Fee: Rs.1500/ per team
- Med-Arb Competition– Registration Fee: Rs. 2000/per team
