About the Opportunity
Saksham, the Social Responsibility Club at ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad in collaboration with the GAIA, the environmental club is conducting Model Conference of Parties (COP) is proud to announce the 1st Model Conference of Parties (Model COP) 2025, a three-day simulation of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, conducted for the first time. This flagship event is designed to engage students and young professionals in policy formulation, negotiation, and diplomacy on pressing global climate issues.
The Model COP will simulate international discussions where participants will represent countries, organisations, and key stakeholders to debate, negotiate, and develop sustainable climate policies. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of environmental governance and international cooperation mechanisms.

“Promoting comprehensive climate action worldwide by ensuring fair and just climate finance, upholding environmental justice, and managing natural resources sustainably to build a resilient future.”
Eligibility
Open to students from diverse educational backgrounds, including:
- School students (from Class 9 onwards)
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate students
- Individuals up to 30 years of age
