About the Organisers

Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education (IDIA) is a non-profit organization in India that aims to empower underprivileged and marginalized children by giving them access to quality legal education.
IDIA sensitizes students from across the country to Law as a career option, selects underprivileged and marginalized students with an aptitude for law, trains them, and provides scholarships to the students to gain admission to law schools. IDIA not only enables access to legal education but also fosters diversity at the leading law schools, thereby enriching the process of legal education.

About the Event

The Chhattisgarh Chapter of IDIA, (based out of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur) has set out to take the aim of IDIA one step further and reach out to students all over India vis the IDIA. The 1st IDIA quiz competition promises to be a gathering of legal minds, offering a platform to showcase expertise and celebrate knowledge in the realms of ADR and broader legal awareness.
The Competition is being organized in two stages, the following two stages with their respective themes, as given below:

• Multiple choice ADR round: The first round of the quiz will test the participants’ knowledge of ADR mechanisms, covering all the recent happenings in the field. The round will be held on an online platform Socrative.(the detailed guide will be shared via mail)
• Google Meet round: The top 10 performers, will participate in the next round focusing on General Legal Knowledge and ADR, this section aims to promote awareness and critical thinking in law. The round will be a live question and answer round held on Google Meet.

Eligibility

• The Competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in any recognized school/college/university in India.

General Rules

• Single entries only.
• Participants will receive a confirmation email with a Participation Code post-registration.
• The quiz was conducted on the Socrative platform, with unique IDs and passwords emailed to participants.
• The top 10 performers advance to Round 2, held via an online meeting platform.
• Use of external resources prohibited.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: Rs. 3,000/- + Internship opportunity at Samvad Partners
• 2nd Prize: Rs. 2,000/- + Internship opportunity at Samvad Partners
• 3rd Prize: Rs. 1,500/-
• All other participants will receive a certificate of participation and the top 10 will receive a certificate of merit.

• Quiz: 10th March
• Results Declaration: 10th March
