The Faculty of Law, Mangalayatan University, Jabalpur is organizing a One-Day Seminar on “The Future of Intellectual Property: Emerging Trends and Challenges in IPR” on 2nd September 2026.

The seminar seeks to examine how rapid technological and global developments are reshaping the creation, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property. It will explore emerging issues relating to Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, Web3, biotechnology, big data, cross-border infringement, data rights, access to medicines, protection of traditional knowledge, and IP enforcement.

The seminar will bring together academicians, legal professionals, industry experts, policymakers, and students to deliberate upon emerging trends, legal gaps, and policy responses in the intellectual property ecosystem, with particular emphasis on the Indian context.

About Call for Papers

The seminar invites research papers on the above-mentioned themes. Students, research scholars, academicians, legal professionals, and other interested participants are encouraged to participate and submit their papers.

Important Dates

• Last Date for Submission of Abstract: 25th August 2026
• Last Date for Registration: 25th August 2026
• Seminar Date: 2nd September 2026

A hard copy of the certificate of participation will be provided to participants who register and present their paper in the hybrid-mode seminar.

Registration Fee

• UG/PG Students: ₹300/-
• Research Scholars: ₹750/-
• Faculty: ₹1,000/-

The registration fee mentioned is for a single author. Co-authors are required to register separately. The registration fee is non-refundable.
